DEADPOOL Hijacks The Cover Of Entertainment Weekly

Deadpool

Marvel hasn’t confirmed Deadpool will have a presence at Comic-Con next week, but there has been no shortage of new promo images. Check out this in your face shot of Ryan Reynolds as the Merc With A Mouth on this cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s Comic-Con Bonus Issue.

Deadpool

We got a sneak peek at a new still last week with Ryan Reynolds suited up armed with pairs of pistols and katanas. Plus this image from Empire surfaced over the weekend and provided us with a new official look at Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

If Ryan Reynolds and the Deadpool crew were to invade Comic-Con, it would likely be during the 20th Century Fox panel in Hall H on Saturday July 11 between 5:45 and 7:30pm. Could the first teaser trailer be on its way??

Official synopsis from Fox:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool, directed by Tim Miller and set for February 12, 2016 release, stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Ed Skrein (Ajax), and Gina Carano (Angel Dust).
