Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With A Mouth is all business and ready to cause some serious collateral damage in this new official image from the the upcoming Deadpool film courtesy of Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con Preview Issue.

This image looks to come from the highway scene where most of the on-set photos surfaced from. This hyper violent high octane scene was also the main thrust of the leaked test footage that got this big screen adaption green lit.

Deadpool is a hard R,” producer Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) tells Entertainment Weekly. “It’s graphic. Nothing is taboo. You either commit to a truly outrageous boundary-pushing kind of movie or you don’t.”

According to director Tim Miller, who also helmed the Deadpool test reel, “I felt Fight Club and Tyler Durden were good corollaries.” Miller makes no bones about taking full advantage of directing Marvel’s first hard-R film. “We are in strip clubs and dive bars and crappy apartments and far away from the shiny X-Men world.”

Deadpool, set for a February 12, 2016 release, stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Ed Skrein (Ajax), and Gina Carano (Angel Dust).
