Tom Cruise Brings “Top Gun: Maverick” Trailer To San Diego Comic Con

There were rumblings that Paramount would offer the first look at Top Gun: Maverick during the studio’s San Diego Comic Con presentation, and yes the speculation became real this afternoon. Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance on the Hall H stage and brought with him the trailer to the three decades in the making return to the danger zone.

Reprising his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, Cruise re-unites with his Oblivion director Jospeph Kosinski and stars along side Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller (as Goose’s son), Glen Powell and Val Kilmer (returning as Iceman).

Top Gun: Maverick is set for a June 26, 2020 release.
