Kyle MacLachlan Teases The Return of Agent Dale Cooper To Showtime’s TWIN PEAKS Revival

Life is just one enormous damn fine cup of coffee for Twin Peaks fans today. Hot on the heels of the announcement from David Lynch, Mark Frost and Showtime that Twin Peaks would return in a nine episode limited series in 2016, Kyle MacLachlan sent out the following tweet to his fans.

1991 Spoiler Alert!! Not only was MacLachlan’s Agent Dale Cooper possessed by the spirit of Laura Palmer’s killer, aptly known as Killer Bob, in the final scene of Peaks‘ cliffhanger chilling (or frustrating) series finale, the intrepid FBI man was also trapped in the netherworld known as the Black Lodge.

Let’s just all agree to not even attempt to speculate what Lynch and Frost dream up when it concerns where Cooper stands 25 years later.
