Batman Assembles The JUSTICE LEAGUE In First Teaser Footage

Justice-League-Teaser-1

The first official image of the big screen Justice League was just revealed at Comic Con, and now a special teaser trailer has been released giving us the first live action look at the DC icons together at long last (minus one that is).

This near three minute sneak peek is thankfully quite fun and doesn’t share the terribly dark tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Affleck’s snarky Bruce Wayne is simply killer, and it’s exciting to get good looks at Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg in action. This definitely feels like a move in the right direction tone wise.

Bruce Wayne is traveling the globe to assemble his team of meta-humans with the help of Diana Prince. “I’m looking for warriors. I’m building an alliance to defend us,” Wayne says. No sign of Henry Cavill’s Superman just yet, as if anyone thinks for a second he isn’t returning. How far into the film we get the Man of Steel back is yet to be revealed.

Here is the Justice League synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder and set for November 17th, 2017, Justice League stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner James Gordon), Amber Heard (Mera) and Willem Dafoe (Vulko).
