Suicide Squad director David Ayer revealed his star studded cast yesterday via Twitter. Notably absent from the class photo was the Squad‘s Joker: Jared Leto. Needless to say, Ayer remedied the Leto-less with his latest Tweet.
Behold this first image of Leto sporting some green tinted Joker hair and by no coincidence, presents a homage to the cover of Alan Moore’s 1988 graphic novel The Killing Joke.

Suicide Squad is set for for release on August 5, 2016 and stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (Joker), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach, Jim Parrack, Ike Barinholtz and Scott Eastwood.
