The final trailer to Logan, the upcoming third solo Wolverine film and Hugh Jackman‘s swan song performance as the iconic Marvel mutant is here, and it pulls few punches setting the somber tone and setting up the likely heir to the claws.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine), Logan also stars Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, and Elizabeth Rodriguez.
Logan is unleashed into theaters on March 3rd.
