The CW continues its dominance as superhero HQ for television, and just dropped the amazing first look at its upcoming spin-off of Arrow and The Flash: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This trailer with the all-star line-up looks as promising and action packed as we have hoped!
With cameos from Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin to set things in motion, we have our first glimpses of new to the CW’s DC-verse Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), and Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl). It’s no secret now that Caity Lotz is back to kick ass as Sara Lance. This time out as she’ll be taking on the global threat as White Canary (courtesy of a dip in the Lazarus Pit), and will join The Atom, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, and Martin Stein on the team.
We learn that the big bad is none other than the immortal DC villain Vandal Savage, whose deeds throughout time prompt Rip Hunter to assemble the rag tag team of 21st century heroes and villains. The show looks to pack major punches in the special effects and stunts department. We have seen Lotz in numeorus impressive hand-to-hand fight scenes in Arrow, so we can expect the same level of action in Legends

The 13-episode series will hit the CW as a mid-season show, joining Arrow and The Flash in an exciting triple punch of DC superhero action.
