“Don’t worry, it all ends tonight.” It’s round three for the Wolfpack. Hot on the heels of the Harry Potter-inspired one-sheet released yesterday, the first look teaser trailer for the conclusion to The Hangover series hit the web today.
The third entry in the trilogy looks like it breaks from the darker and very redundant plot of Part II which re-purposed the bachelor party from hell formula. Where Hangover II took the Wolfpack to Thailand for Stu’s wedding, the boys will make a return visit to Sin City for good measure.
Even though Ed Helms’ Stu is now a taken man, they return to Sin City and his Vegas stripper ex-wife Jade (heather Graham) factors in. ‘She’s a nice lady!!!’ Alan scolded Phil in the first installment.
This outing looks to mix heist film (with pig masked bandits) and road trip elements as well. Plus Mr. Chow returns.
As the log line says “This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.”
Hopefully this last installment in the Hangover trilogy will be a fitting final hunt for our beloved Wolfpack. Will they burn Vegas to the ground?
The Hangover Part III, directed by Todd Phillips reunites stars Bradley Cooper (Phil), Ed Helms (Stu), Zack Galifianakis (Alan), Justin Bartha (Doug), Ken Jeong (Mr. Chow), Heather Graham (Jade) and Jeffrey Tambor. John Goodman will join the crew.
The party begins on May 24th to bring one last round of debauchery to Memorial Day Weekend.
