The first TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit today on Twitter and packs quite a punch in 30-seconds. Daisy Ridley’s Rey takes center stage and shows she’s going to kick some major ass in the film.

I guess you can say “the eyes have it.”

Let’s note that the new look at Harrison Ford’s Han Solo in a snowy environment not so coincidentally follows a shot of Rey, further insinuating the family connections thrown at us from Lupita Nyong’o’s (still unseen) Maz Kanata voice over.

“I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes.”

Rey can be heard revealing she is waiting for her family on Jakku in the International trailer that hit on Friday which re-enforces what Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy revealed in October about the saga’s generational themes.

“The saga films focus on the Skywalker family,” Kennedy said, “The stories follow a linear narrative that connects to the previous six films. The Force Awakens follows Return of the Jedi and continues that generational story. ”

Rey is also quickly seen in the cockpit of the Millennium Flacon at the end of the spot, throwing the iconic cruiser into full throttle.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, is set to open on December 18, 2015 and stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Crystal Clark, Pip Anderson, Warwick Davis and Max von Sydow.
