New STAR WARS REBELS Rebroadcast Promo Teases Darth Vader Appearance

Disney has a rebroadcast set for the Star Wars Rebels pilot episode “Spark of Rebellion” on ABC this Sunday, October 26th at 7 pm. It was previously revealed that a special extended version will be airing to build up interest and will feature a cameo from Darth Vader, who will be voiced by none other than James Earl Jones himself! Since the show is set between Episodes III and IV, an appearance from the Dark Lord of the Sith is possible. The bonus footage will serve as an introductory scene for Rebels’ main Jedi villain, The Inquisitor.

“We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast. We’ve added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones,” Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni stated on Star earlier this month.

A sneak peek clip has been released which features a sneak peek at Vader. We don’t get the unmistakable voice, but we do get the iconic breathing!

Star Wars Rebels regularly airs on Disney XD, Mondays at 9 pm.
