Earlier this week, Marvel released the teaser trailer for its first Phase 3 adventure, Ant-Man. Not without a sense of humor, the aspect ratio of the footage was actually micro-sized when you tried to view it. A proper first look at the film starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Corey Stoll will be broadcast during the debut of Marvel’s Agent Carter this Tuesday night at 8pm on ABC.
Today however we have a new version of the 18-second promo announcement for what we can expect from the teaser footage, and thankfully its fully viewable! There isn’t too much here beyond some quick shots of Rudd (Scott Lange), Evangeline Lily (Hope Van Dyne), Michael Douglas (Dr. Hank Pym) and Corey Stoll (Darren Cross).
Here is the “Ant-Sized” sneak peek at the film from earlier this week, which could be considered the micro teaser to the teaser to the teaser.
Here is the film’s official synopsis:
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Set for July 17th, 2015 and directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man also features Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer and John Slattery.
