Kylo Ren Goes Helmet To Helmet With Darth Vader In New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Image

Kylo Ren could probably have a great talk with Gollum when it comes to objects they fawn over and refer to as “My precious.” In this latest image from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Darth Vader obsessed Knight of Ren stares upon the charred remains of the Sith Lord’s iconic helmet.

The latest issue of Rolling Stone goes into full Star Wars mode with its upcoming The Force Awakens cover story.

This new image of Adam Driver’s next generation First Order villain is among several new pics, but remains the best of the batch. It’s going to be an interesting reveal in the film to see exactly how Kylo came into possession of Darth Vader’s helmet, since it was last seen burning in a funeral pyre on Endor at the end of Return of the Jedi.

Now which of those damn Ewoks will be revealed as a dirty grave scavenger??

The other new pics offer alternate angles from snippets of scenes from the various trailers and TV promos featuring Han Solo, Rey, Poe Dameron, Finn, BB-8 and a behind-the-scenes image.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18th, though let’s assume many of us will be packing multiplexes on the 17th because we can’t wait any longer than we humanly have to.
