Over the years every July 4th, many of us have shared pics or videos online of Bill Pullman’s iconic pre-battle speech from Independence Day. It’s become a social media tradition. With the long awaited sequel a little less than a year away, 20th Century Fox has finally released an official amped up HD clip of the final moment from President Whitmore’s big scene!
But if you prefer the full two and half minute scene in its original uncut glory, here it is:
Let’s not forget to mention Independence Day: Resurgence. The sequel is set for release June 24, 2016 and takes place twenty years after the humanity’s first victory over the alien invaders. Let’s assume it will take more than a computer virus to stop them this time.
The cast includes Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.
