Marvel unleashed the full length trailer to Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lily and Michael Douglas. There has been endless skepticism on how this film will turn out given its turbulent production history. But it sure looks like we have a lot to look forward to and a lot of doubts to put aside.
This new sneak peek offers a pretty good idea of what we’re in store for in terms of plot, visual effects and wink wink humor that works in terms of a film centered around a super-hero called Ant-Man.
Here is the film’s official synopsis:
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Set for July 17th, 2015 and directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Corey Stoll (Darren Cross), Evangeline Lily (Hope Van Dyne), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Bobby Cannavale (Paxton), Michael Peña (Luis), Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer (Maggie) and John Slattery (Howard Stark).
