The Twelfth Doctor is set to land this summer when Doctor Who returns to the airwaves in August, but he will also hit comic book stores on October 1st!
Courtesy of BBC Worldwide, we have a first look at both the main and variant cover art to the first issue of Titan Comics’ upcoming series based on the iconic sci-fi show starring Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor.
The title features the creative talents of Eagle award-winning writer Robbie Morrison (Drowntown, The Authority, 2000AD) and New York Times-bestselling artist Dave Taylor (Batman: Death by Design, 2000AD).
Here is the main cover of Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor, painted by Alice X. Zhang, followed by alternate versions featuring a 100% Rebel Time Lord edition and collector’s covers featuring Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald.
Titan Comics’ also has separate series on deck’ featuring the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors set to hit comic book stores on July 23.
