The highly anticipated team-up of TV’s Supergirl and The Flash in “Worlds Finest” is ahem, fast approaching. We now have a pretty amazing teaser poster that pays homage to the comics heritage of the DC superhero legends in the upcoming episode of Supergirl.
Following the promo poster image for “Flash of Two Worlds,” which teased the first meeting of the Earth One and Earth Two Flashes on the hit CW show, CBS’s upcoming crossover episode, which sees Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen in Supergirl‘s National City, also boasts an iconic comic book inspired promo image.
The new poster is call back to the 1967 cover of DC Comics’ Superman #199, which featured the first meeting of the Man of Steel and the Scarlet Speedster.
Plus its worth noting the very title is a play on words of the episode is a reference to the DC series World’s Finest, which focused on the team-up adventures of Superman and Batman.

“Worlds Finest” – Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire, in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.
Melissa Benoist meets Grant Gustin in the epic Supergirl/ The Flash crossover on Monday, March 28 at 8pm on CBS.
