Entertainment Weekly‘s Comic-Con Preview issue, which hits news stands on July 3rd, and gives the cover story honors to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Besides boasting the headline image of DC’s big screen Trinity, the issue reveals exclusive new pics from the highly anticipated film and interviews from the set.
In addition to chatting with the cast, EW offers our first look at Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot closely interacting out of costume at a formal event as Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince.

We’ve already seen Jesse Eisenberg as a bald Lex Luthor in a previously released official image from director Zack Snyder, but here is the first look at Superman’s iconic arch enemy with nothing less than a healthy long head of locks.

Zack Synder also revealed the initial idea for Batman v Superman came from a brainstorming session with Christopher Nolan and David Goyer for a possible final scene in Man of Steel.
“I said, ‘What about at the end of the movie we do a scene where there’s a crate full of kryptonite delivered to Wayne Manor.’ Everyone was like…‘Okaay.’ Once you say it out loud it’s a problem because you can’t unsay it.” – Zack Snyder
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for March 26th, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Scoot McNairy and Holly Hunter.
