Yesterday Entertainment Weekly revealed two collector’s covers that gave us our first official looks at the cast of Terminator: Genisys as well as insight to some rather controversial changes that will be made to the series’ 30 year old mythology in this first film of the planned trilogy relaunch.
Today more images from the EW cover story have been released, highlighted by the official reveal of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the aging T-800 (and the “father figure” Emilia Clarke’s orphaned Sarah Connor calls “Pops” in the new timeline. Yep). We also have shots of the iconic T-800 endoskeleton as a well as character portraits of Jason Clarke (John Connor) and Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor).
Directed by Alan Taylor, Terminator Genisys is set for a July 1, 2015 release and stars Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.
