Netflix has released the first full trailer to Daredevil, the gritty Hell’s Kitchen-set series based on Marvel’s iconic Man Without Fear.
We finally have a real good set-up for the show, which sees Matt Murdock take on the NYC crime lord Wilson Fisk (also known as the Kingpin), on two very different fronts: in the courtroom (as a blind lawyer) and on the streets (as a masked vigilante with heightened senses).
Here is the official synopsis from Netflix:
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods), the series also stars Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.
Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna.
All 13 episodes hit Netflix on April 10th. Clear your weekend.
