The battle line between the DC icons are drawn and in the latest round of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice TV promos and new poster, it’s time to take a side. Will it be the Man of Steel or The Dark Knight scoring the victory?Yahoo! Movies unveiled the new poster, which has the two heroes standing head to head with the hashtag #WhoWillWin. There’s the yes and no involved with this promo angle, since we know from the last revealing trailer that they will be shaking hands after the epic slugfest to take on Doomsday (with Wonder Woman as well).
So there’s not as much to ultimately figure out except how much damage they will inflict upon each other until its time for the dawn of the Justice League. It’s another case where some restraint in marketing would leave more to be revealed for the moviegoing experience. But who are we kidding? This isn’t going to deter any moviegoers set to see this showdown.
The two new TV promos take specific sides. One focuses on why the obsessed Bruce Wayne wants to destroy Superman, while the other spot explains what the Man of Steel has against Batman.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for March 25th, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Scoot McNairy and Holly Hunter (Senator Finch).
