MTV Teases Hulk Versus Hulkbuster With 90 Intense Seconds From AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Hulkbuster

We know there are going to be numerous highlights to nerd out about from Avengers: Age of Ultron when the dust settles. But we’re all certainly psyched for the sure to be pulse pounding Hulk versus Hulkbuster scene. Last night MTV debuted 90 city smashing seconds from the highly anticipated battle during their Movie Awards broadcast.

Let’s not waste any time. Hulkbuster smash.

Though what we can learn from this clip (besides that the scene is going to kick as much ass as we’ve anticipated), after much online speculation it’s confirmed that the Hulk is not going on a raging Gamma ray rampage here, but is rather under the spell of Scarlet Witch. By all accounts, Scarlet Witch and her twin brother Quicksilver are recruited to Team Ultron at first, and they are tasked to turn Mightiest Heroes against each other.

We can be pretty sure that will change by the time the movie ends. But will those seeds lead into the tensions that come to the forefront in Captain America: Civil War?

Here’s the official synopsis of the film from Marvel:

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for theaters May 1st in 3D. Directed and written by Joss Whedon, the film stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johannson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), James Spader (Ultron), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Paul Bettany (Vision), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Don Cheadle (Rhodey) and Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaw).
