Anticipation and expectations for today’s Doctor Who Comic-Con panel elevated tremendously when Jodi Whittaker was announced to take over the iconic role when Peter Capaldi bows out in this year’s Who Christmas Special. Today Capaldi took to the Hall H stage to herald in the trailer to Twelve’s swan song in the TARDIS.
The first sneak peek to Twice Upon A Time delivered the goods as far as following up the cliffhanger ending to the recent season finale which saw Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor cross paths with the very first Doctor (played by David Bradley, stepping in for the late William Hartnell).
Something has gone very wrong with time.
