This laid back first look at Tom Holland’s teenage Spider-Man was unveiled on the film’s Twitter account and shows him taking five wearing his high school jacket and headphones. The note on the accompanied tweet says: “Homework can wait. The city can’t.”

As far as New York City geography goes, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers Tower (the former Stark Tower) is where the Met Life Building stands in real life and in very close proximity to Grand Central Station. With Robert Downey Jr. appearing as Tony Stark, it’s not surprising to see the HQ of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on the first poster to reference this film as the first Spider-Man adventure taking place directly in the MCU.

The second one-sheet offers a view looking towards downtown NYC from Avengers Tower, showing Spidey clinging to the building’s “A” logo.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The 2017 Toy Fair is underway in New York City and Funko revealed their Spiderman: Homecoming Pop! Vinyl and Pint Sized Heroes collectibles. Included in the collection are the film’s villain The Vulture as well as Peter Parker, Tony Stark and Iron Man figures.

We get a good look at the techy costume Michael Keaton will wear as The Vulture, Peter Parker’s high school t-shirt and a Spiderman’s make shift home made costume before Tony Stark provides that welcome upgrade.

Netflix dropped a new Iron Fist teaser trailer, the final of the four NYC set solo series starring members of Hell’s Kitchen’s future The Defenders. 

With a heavy focus on martial arts, Iron Fist chronicles the story of Danny Rand (Finn Jones), heir to a vast fortune but presumed dead for fifteen years after a flight he was on with his parents crashed, returns to NYC a lethal living weapon and to reclaim the family business.

From Netflix:

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Check out the first teaser that made its debut at New York Comic Con last October.

The cast also includes Rosario Dawson, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey.

Next up, Iron Fist will team with Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in The Defenders, the eight-episode team up series set to debut later this year.

All 13 episodes of Marvel’s Iron Fist will stream on Netflix on March 17th.

Though this excellent casting not been a well kept secret, Oscar-winner Brie Larson is now officially set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Carol Danvers, better known as Captain Marvel.

The announcement came towards the conclusion of the Marvel Studios presentation at Comic Con, where Brie joined studio President Kevin Feige and her future fellow big screen MCU superheroes on the Hall H stage. She was already set to appear at Comic Con to promote Legendary’s Kong: Skull Island.

She also shared the great news via Twitter.

Captain Marvel is the first film for the studio with a female lead. No director has been set yet. Though the film is still a few years away, we can safely assume Larson will make her first appearance in a another Marvel film much the way Spider-Man and Black Panther showed up in Captain America: Civil War. Given the character’s interstellar ties, a part in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a good bet.

Captain Marvel is scheduled for release on March 8, 2019.

Following up on revealing new concept art, a second mind bending trailer and one-sheet for Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch were revealed during Marvel Studios’ big Hall H presentation at Comic Con today.

This latest trailer fleshes out the plot a little further, showing Cumberbatch’s surgeon Dr. Stephen Strange on the path to become Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme after a suffering injuries in a devastating car accident.

There is no shortage of trippy effects which remind us of the mind bending visuals that made Inception such a very memorable experience and will take the Marvel Cinematic Universe full throttle into the magical realm.

Here is the film’s official synopsis:

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Netflix and Marvel brought out Hell’s Kitchen’s heavy hitters at Comic Con via a special sizzle reel with footage from Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in addition to a teaser trailer to the upcoming team-up series The Defenders.

Netflix dropped the first trailer to the upcoming Luke Cage series at Comic Con, showing off Mike Colter’s awesome powers as he takes on the criminals of New York City.

Introduced earlier this year in Jessica Jones, Luke Cage is the unstoppable title hero in Marvel’s third gritty Nexflix series set in the Big Apple. Check out all the kick ass action set to Old Dirt Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya.”

Entertainment Weekly gave us a preview of a poster featuring concept art of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange set to be given to fans attending Comic Con in San Diego next weekend.

The image by artist Ryan Meinerding gives us a great sneak peek look at the Sherlock actor using his powers as Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme.

Are there similarities between the legendary super sleuth he plays on the hit BBC America show and the magic wielding Marvel icon? “The two men are intelligent,” he told EW. “Finito,” he added. “That’s it. Stephen Strange is a lover, he’s a materialist, he’s arrogant, but he’s got a great sense of humor. There are smatterings of the same colors that Sherlock has, but he’s not on the spectrum.”

Doctor Strange, directed by Scott Derrickson, is set for release on November 4, 2016.
