Following tonight’s Batman v Superman Teaser Trailer IMAX events with exclusive footage, director Zack Snyder thanked the fans and shared the first official full clean shot of Ben Affleck’s Batman costume from the film.

After some remedial Photoshop to brighten up the image, we can see exactly how badass this latest version of the costume is, and truth be told, overall the most loyal to the character’s comic book origins of all the movie versions we’ve seen so far.
The suit is diesel. Affleck will look massive and intimidating on the big screen with the body armor complete with huge muscles and the hint of exaggerated protruding veins. The cowl, cape, gloves boots and insignia are black, with a dark grey kevlar-esque body. The utility belt has a old school Batman look, and like the comic book version, has square strorage compartments.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for March 26th, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Scoot McNairy and Holly Hunter.
