TV’s FLASH and SUPERGIRL Team Up On The Cover Of Variety

Greg Berlanti will be a busy man for the time being. The uber producer has his hand in six shows, four of them based on DC Comics characters, airing next season. Berlanti is the subject of Variety‘s latest featured profile, and shares the cover with two of his super TV stars, Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, suited up in full costume!

Berlanti’s DC TV empire expands in the fall, adding DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to The CW line-up (in the shared universe with The Flash and Arrow), plus Supergirl starring Benoist in the title role airing on CBS.

Though the two rising stars team up for this cover, will their shows ever share a cross-over adventure on TV that would span two different networks?

“The network has said publicly at this point they’re going to keep her to themselves,” Berlanti told Variety. “I always approach the shows as a fan first, so I would love to see (a crossover). I think in success, all things are possible. But there’s a lot that would have to happen before everybody might say yes to that.”

Well at least we have this picture until things settle in with Supergirl at CBS and the possibilities of Kara teaming up along side the DC heroes on The CW.

Grant Gustin took to his Instagram account and posted this outtake from the photo shoot. Not for nothing, these two make an adorable duo.
