Figures in Hasbro’s Transformers Masterpiece Collection never disappoint old school fans. These deluxe version of the well loved ’80s incarnations of the characters always achieve the detailed construction that was not possible when the originals were available on toy shelves.
On display in the Hasbro showroom at this year’s Toy Fair was this stunning 30th Anniversary Edition of Optimus Prime, which includes a transparent trailer and the Matrix of Leadership encased in his chest. Also seen was a Generations Leader redesign of fan favorite Autobot Jetfire in addition to a classic version of Dinobot leader Grimlock (who bears little resemblance to his Age of Extinction update).
