It’s sometimes the little things that make the biggest differences. Check out the costume Grant Gustin will be wearing as Barry Allen in The Flash‘s sophomore season.
While over on Arrow, Stephen Amell’s suit gets a major New 52-inspired overhaul for next season, Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster threads has a minor tweak made to the insignia. The upgrade sees a white round background in place of the red one, bringing the classic Flash logo to the show.
Sure it may not seem like a big deal at all, but it does bring the costume one step closer the comic book version, and more importantly for the show’s storyline, matches the version we saw the future Flash wearing when he fought off Eobard Thawne the murder of Barry’s mother.

The Flash returns with new episodes to The CW on October 6th at 8PM.
