Disney CEO Bob Iger dropped some Star Wars related news today at the company’s annual shareholders meeting. The release date for Star Wars: Episode VIII has been set for May 26, 2017, which positions the series back into the Memorial Day Weekend slot.

Every Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) film has been released at the end of May, except for the upcoming The Force Awakens, which required extra prep time and will be the first in the franchise with a December release date. The still untitled Episode VIII will be written and directed by Rian Johnson (Looper) and will bow forty years and a day after the release of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977.
