The final trailer to X-Men: Days of Future Past is on deck for its online world premiere tomorrow. To whet our appetites, during last night’s MTV Movie Awards we got our first look at what we can expect from an FX heavy battle scene that takes place early on in the mutant all-stars film.
Set during the future timeline, the X-Men prepare to face off against an assault from the robotic Sentinels. There’s a lot to take in from the short clip, and we get good glimpses of Warpath (Booboo Stewart), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), Bishop (Omar Sy), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), Blink (Fan Bingbing), Colossus (Daniel Cudmore), and Sunspot (Adan Canto). Ain’t it cool to finally see Iceman in full mutant action, travelling about by using his frozen bridge?
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from the past, “X-Men: First Class,” in order to change a major historical event and fight in an epic battle that could save our future.
X-Men: Days of Future Past, set for May 23rd, 2014 in 3D, has enlisted an all-star Mutant line-up of Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Peter Dinklage (Dr. Bolivar Trask), Halle Berry (Storm), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Omar Sy (Bishop), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Fan Bingbing (Blink), Daniel Cudmore (Colossus), Boo Boo Stewart (Warpath), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Josh Helman (William Stryker), Adan Canto (Sunspot) and Lucas Till (Havok).
