Its been quiet on the Avengers: Age of Ultron character poster front since the final trailer was released last week. But we’re back in action again courtesy of Yahoo! who revealed the poster images of Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff.
The sister-brother duo, introduced as “The Twins” in Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s bonus scene, will play both sides of the coin in Age of Ultron. By all appearances they side with Ultron initially, but ultimately see the error of their ways and become allies, if not members, of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel has already released the character posters for Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Nick Fury, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for theaters May 1st in 3D. Directed and written by Joss Whedon, the film stars Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johannson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), James Spader (Ultron), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Paul Bettany (Vision), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Don Cheadle (Rhodey) and Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaw).
