As if you needed another reason to feel assured Ryan Reynolds is going to knock Deadpool out of the ballpark. Via his Twitter account, Reynolds revealed this seductive tongue-in-cheek first look of him wearing the full costume lounging out on a bear skin rug. The tone of the pic hopefully reflects the tone of the character in the film, and there has been nothing so far Reynolds has shared about the big screen solo film for Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth that hasn’t lived up to the promise to fans for one heck of a fun ride.

Deadpool, set for a February 12, 2016 release, stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Ed Skrein, and Gina Carano (Angel Dust).
The film, currently shooting in Vancouver, is directed by Tim Miller from a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
