Ryan Reynolds Releases DEADPOOL 2 “No Good Deed” Teaser Short

Deadpool 2 is coming, but “not soon enough” confirms this teaser short running on the big screen before Logan. It’s been in theaters since previews began on Thursday night but Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds released it online today on YouTube.

With so much silly buzz of a Deadpool cameo in Logan, or an appearance via a post credits scene, turns out what the Merc With A Mouth got was a teaser trailer titled “No Good Deed,” and unrelated to Wolverine’s R-rated swan song adventure.

This is a slightly altered version of what is in theaters adding a Stan Lee cameo and quick phone call joke.

There’s plenty of Easter Eggs here:

The “Nathan Summers Cumming Soon” graphitti is a shout out to Cable, who will play a major part in Deadpool 2.

John Williams’ Superman theme plays while Deadpool comedically pays homage to the Man of Steel’s classic phone booth costume change scenario.

How about those Firefly posters? Deadpool‘s Morena Baccarin was one of the stars of the cult classic Joss Whedon sci-fi show.

Reynolds even includes his wife in a mention in the You Tube description: “Wade and the other girls from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants plan a trip to Cabot Cove.” Blake Lively was one of the stars of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films.
