STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Behind-The-Scenes Footage Hits Comic-Con

There was talk no new finished footage in the form of trailers or clips from Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be showcased at Comic-Con. That was true, but did get a long awaited reunion with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford on the Hall H stage with a gorgeous behind-the-scenes video.

Mark Hamill narrates thew opening of the special video package from Lucasfilm. Instead of taking the obvious route with a new trailer, a stunning look at the making of The Force Awakens provided a welcome change of pace from the typical Comic-Con panel buzz. Shots from the behind the camera include the cast members (old and new) in action, Simon Pegg revealed to play an alien, new looks at the meticulously reconstructed Millennium Falcon, R2-D2, Peter Mayhew in his Chewbacca costume and a breath taking closing image of Harrison Ford taking the pilot seat next to Daisy Ridley in the Falcon cockpit.
