Star-Lord Meets His Dad In Explosive New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Trailer

Chris Pratt stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight and brought with him the high octane new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The latest sneak peek is virtually zilch on actual plot except assuring us our favorite Guardians will be saving the galaxy a second time.

We do get lots of stunning visuals, adorable Baby Groot, a most excellent use of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain and a full reveal of Kurt Russell as papa Peter Quill.

Enjoy. You will.

AND a new poster!

From Marvel Studios:

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, GOTG Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis) and Kurt Russell (Ego).

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens May 5th.
