This new international trailer for the highly anticipated Dawn of the Planet of the Apes gives us some new footage to enjoy. This latest sneak peek offers shots of the apes dwelling, some baby apes and more of Caesar talking (and sounding as different from Roddy McDowall as you could imagine).
With each successive trailer, this film keeps looking better and better. 20th Century Fox is already so impressed with what they have on their hands the studio has already locked in Dawn director Matt Reeves to helm and co-write the third installment in the series slotted for July 2016.
Official synopsis:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
Directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), Dawn arrives in theaters on July 11 and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Judy Greer.
