New FANTASTIC FOUR Poster Teases The Team’s Superpowers

FFPoster2 copy

A new poster for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has been released and gives us a little tease of the super human abilities possessed by Marvel’s First Family.

The image for the most part is not entirely new, it’s a modified version of an official still released with the teaser trailer in January of what appears to be the team looking towards what could be a portal to the Negative Zone. The new one-sheet has the added bonus of hinting at Johnny Storm’s fire powers and Sue Storm’s mastery of invisibility. There doesn’t seem to be much stretching from Reed Richards and it looks like Ben Grimm will be going pant less as The Thing.

From Fox:

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Written and directed by Josh Trank, Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7th and stars Miles Teller (Reed Richards), Kate Mara (Sue Storm), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm), Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm) and Toby Kebbell (Doctor Doom).
