J.J. Abrams Talks Trek 2’s 3D Plans

MTV News‘ Josh Horowitz caught up with J.J. Abrams at Monday night’s NYC red carpet premiere of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and pressed him for details on Star Trek 2.  As expected, the director remained mum on whether Khan would be the villain, but was forthcoming on his 3D plans for the film.

“We’re shooting on film, 2D, and then we’ll do a good high-end conversion like the Harry Potter movie and all that. Luckily, with our release date now we have the months needed to do it right because if you rush it, it never looks good,” he said.
