I had the opportunity to attend my first Heroes & Villains Fan Fest when the convention tour recently stopped in Secaucus, New Jersey. In addition to seeing a lot of popular genre stars in person and taking Q&A panels, cosplay always tends to be a featured highlight.
This convention is a fan fest by definition, allowing attendees the chance to meet stars from shows like Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Heroes and various pop culture figures as well as get autographs, selfies, professional photo-ops and participate in Q&A sessions. There are vendors of course, mostly local artists with small businesses hand crafted geek wares. The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable. Everyone in the expo center, from fans to the celebs to the convention staff, were all exceptionally friendly and cordial.
It goes without saying no show is complete without cosplay. So here is some pics I took throughout the highly enjoyable day.
