The folks over at the CW have done quite a nice job with Arrow the past two seasons, and have taken to expand their televised DC Universe further with a potential spin-off series starring Grant Gustin as The Flash. Gustin first made a guest appearance on Arrow as Barry Allen, with the intention of using a second cameo as a back door pilot. The CW folks were so happy with what they had, they went right to green lighting a full pilot episode after the first appearance.
Here is our first sneak peek look at Grant as Central City’s Scarlet Speedster, which fits right in with the dark hued leather look established with Arrow. And this looks pretty damn cool.
The pilot also features Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order), Tom Cavanagh (Ed), John Wesley Shipp (CBS’s The Flash), Danielle Panabaker (Shark), Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries), Candice Patton (The Game), Michelle Harrison (Emily Owens, MD) and Carlos Valdes.
