Doctor Doom Revealed In New FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer

The latest trailer to Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is now online, and this second sneak peek offers more insight into the sci-fi heavy plot and solid shots of The Thing and Doctor Doom!

If we had any doubts on the darker cinematic take on Marvel’s First Family, they can be now officially put aside. Trank’s reboot pulls no punches in going with the science fiction angle over typical comic book antics. This trailer also has plenty of action shots showing off the team’s super powers.  Now where will they manage to squeeze in a “It’s clobberin’ time” from The Thing?

Here is the film’s official synopsis:

THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Written and directed by Josh Trank, Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7th and stars Miles Teller (Reed Richards), Kate Mara (Sue Storm), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm), Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm) and Toby Kebbell (Doctor Doom).
