20th Century Fox has released the epic second trailer to X-Men: Days of Future Past that finally gives us pretty much everything we’ve been waiting for. If anyone had any questions regarding the time travel plot or how the two X-Men casts would share the spotlight, the film’s full scope is revealed in this story heavy sneak peek that runs over two and a half minutes.

Plot, massive effects and lots of first time live action reveals are here, including Peter Dinklage as Dr. Bolivar Trask, Evan Peters as Quicksilver and the full-on destructive force of the Sentinels. The trailer is a true welcome ensemble showcase, not just another spotlight on franchise breadwinner Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.  Whatever path the series takes when we get to X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016, this entry looks to be as good a re-entry point to finally untangle the mixed continuity the films have amassed over the previous six big screen adventures.
