DAREDEVIL Motion Poster Has Some MARVEL Easter Eggs

Who needs traditional static one-sheet images when we can now look to You Tube for nifty motion posters? In the latest promo for Netflix’s Daredevil, blind lawyer Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) walks the streets of Hell’s Kitchen (check out Avengers Tower in the skyline) and passes the other main cast members.

While we shouldn’t expect to see major Marvel cross-overs in the show as it needs mark its own territory, I think we can expect to see things like Avengers Tower or maybe even the Oscorp Building in the New York City skyline to remind viewers that the show does indeed have ties to the Cinematic Universe as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Somebody’s gonna need to be around to fight the bad guys past Phase 3, right?

Also take notice of Murdock’s reflection in the puddles. That sure looks more like The Man Without Fear’s classic red horned costume than that bare bones black ninja sash outfit we’ll be seeing at the outset of the 13-episode limited series.

Here is the official synopsis from Netflix:

Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods), the series also stars Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.

Daredevil hits Netflix on April 10th and stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna.
