We may have a new Doctor, but that doesn’t mean old foes won’t be back to wreck havoc with him. As you can see from this new image from the Cardiff, Whales set of Doctor Who reveals that the Cybermen will be returning for Season Eight!
In addition, Michelle Gomez has been added as a guest star for Season Eight as the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere. Pictured with Capaldi in a Victorian-era dress, the Cybermen episode looks like it will see the Gatekeeper and the Doctor teaming up in the past and present for at least one adventure.
“Deep Breath,” Peter Capladi’s feature length first full adventure in Doctor Who, is set to air on BBC America on August 23rd at 8PM.
