“Clara, be my pal and tell me: Am I a good man?” “I don’t think I know who the Doctor is anymore.”
And there you have the exchange betewen the Doctor and Clara in the new cryptic teaser BBC America dropped online today. The broadcast date of the first full adventure for Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor that will herald in a new era for Doctor Who was also announced in addition to a new image in the control room of the TARDIS.
The feature length season premiere titled “Deep Breath” will air here Stateside on BBC America Saturday, August 23 at 8PM and introduce to the cast Samuel Anderson as Clara’s teacher colleague Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where Clara also works and guest stars Ben Miller, Keeley Hawes and Tom Riley.
Capaldi and Coleman will appear together for the first time in the United States on August 14th in New York City (with expected much fanfare) as part of the previously announced first ever seven city Doctor Who World Tour.
